Engineered flooring has two layers: top veneer layer and plywood. The top layer is a fine wood veneer. The veneer thickness, which is 3,2 mm, allows regrinding the hardwood flooring up to 3-4 times. The flooring substrate is 9-ply crossed hardwood plywood. Only ultra-strong & eco-safe PU adhesives that prevent the flooring delamination under the heavy-duty exploitation are used to glue the top layer to the plywood substrate.
Engineered flooring can be installed over, on or above ground level. It is glued on the concrete, plywood or wooden base, along with a soundproof underlay.
Two-layer hardwood flooring keeps its dimensions within the wide range of humidity alterations of 40-65% due to the hardwood substrate usage. There are no seasonal variations of boards dimensions.
